Alisa in Warland - a documentary

DOC'N'WORLD FOUNDATION

The producer of the film "Alisa in Warland" (formerly "The Euromaidan Almanac") as well as the organizer of the projects "The World from Dawn till Dusk" and "Young People about Themselves" is the Doc’n’World Foundation, established by Mirosław Dembiński and Maciej J. Drygas. This organisation is based on more than twenty years of extensive experience of both founders as documentary film producers and filmmakers running their own companies, viz.: Everest Film Studio and Drygas Production, as well as their long expertise as teachers at the Film School in Łódź.

Honorary Committee of the Foundation brings together prominent Polish documentary filmmakers. Among them there are: Marcel and Paweł Łoziński, Jacek Blawut, Jacek Petrycki, Vita Żelakeviciute, Wojciech Staron, Mateusz Werner, Rafał Listopad.

At the same time they are experienced teachers of the art of film (Film School in Łódź, Andrzej Wajda Master School in Warsaw, Gdynia Film School in Gdynia, Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw).

Doc'n'World Foundation is the world's first mobile film school, prepared professionally and with adequate equipment to carry out educational film workshop at any place in the world. The need to engage in this activity stems from the deep conviction of the members of the Artistic Council that even the smallest and most distant communities should be taught of their ability to describe the world by themselves. Such an attitude at times of overwhelming unification helps to cultivate the existence of a multicultural world.
