Tutors: Jacek Blawut, Maciej Drygas, Pawel Lozinski

The workshops in Wroclaw took place in November 2 – 15, 2015. We invited many guests to take part in the workshops: foreign students of the Film School in Lodz and Wajda School, among whom there were people from Georgia, China, Palestine, Israel, France, Japan, Belarus, Ukraine and Mexico. We were curious to find out about their views of Wroclaw. We also had participants from the city of Wroclaw – young filmmakers, people interested in journalism, film, culture and art, enthusiasts and lovers of Wroclaw, who formed teams with foreign students and searched together for topics and interesting characters and places. They helped during the filming but they also executed their own ideas.
The whole project was supervised by tutors, Jacek Blawut, Maciej Drygas and Pawel Lozinski. The production crew was formed by: Piotr Wojcik, responsible for the editing, Piotr Pliszka, responsible for the sound on the set, and Victoria Ogneva – production manager.
The workshops were part of the European Capital of Culture Wroclaw 2016, with the support of Impart Festival Centre 2016. An enormous support in the organization and promotion was given by the workshops’ partners: T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival and its director, Roman Gutek and the film projects specialist, Dominika Lusniak who were engaged in the organizational help which guaranteed a smooth course of the workshops and the execution of the short films.
Wroclaw Board of Scientific and Technical Associations Federation NOT was also a partner of the workshops. Their cinema auditorium was a place where the workshop participants met every day, where the topics were discussed, materials reviewed and the documentaries screened. Whereas the editing room was the place of preliminary works on the recorded material.
