From 4 to 19 December 2014, there was a workshop held in SRFTI - Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. The workshop participants were students of the Faculties of Directing, the Art of Cinematography, Editing and Film Production. The workshop was run by the renowned documentary filmmaker and lecturer of the Lodz Film School Maciej Drygas, a prominent documentary and feature film cinematographer Jacek Petrycki and the philosopher of culture, film and book critic Mateusz Werner. The production team on the Polish side was made up of editor Katarzyna Sawicka, production manager Victoria Ogneva and students of the Faculty of Cinematography of the Lodz Film School: Adam Suzin, Sebastian Weber and Tomasz Wierzbicki. The workshop was hosted by the SRFTI dean and director of the Asian Forum for Documentary DocEgde Kolkata - Nilotpal Majumdar. Professor Amaresh Chakraburtty helped with the organization and coordination. The Polish Institute in New Delhi also gave organizational support.

The film "Abu Haraz" was shown during the workshop, followed by a meeting with Maciej Drygas attended by SRFTI students and professors.
